Cara Long has more than 20 years of experience and two college degrees in studio ceramics. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) in Ceramics and Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute, and a Master of Fine Arts degree (MFA) in Ceramics from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. She has exhibited and sold work both nationally and internationally. Cara incorporates pastry techniques into the ceramic process to explore concepts of decadence, adornment, consumption, and loss. She currently lives with her beloved kitty and handsome husband in Los Angeles, California.
